Men's Spring/Summer Trends 2013

By: Chela

In honor of Father's Day, this post is for all the father's out there who work hard at being superheroes.  Superman might wear the same superhero gear when he saves the day but if men go to work wearing the same clothing everyday, the only thing they will be saving is time and money.  True, it is easier for men to get dress in the morning, especially if there woman dresses them.
If you are on your own and you feel like your wardrobe is wearing you down, then you need a change?  Go ahead and incorporate one or two of these trends slowly, wait for your wife's or friends reaction and then have fun with the remaining options.  You got nothing to loose but a new style to gain.  Personally I love that men today are taking time to spice up there looks.  Men's fashion history is evolved and competition is fierce so making the first impressions can be the last.

Trend #1  Camouflage:

Shirts to shoes, this trend is so hot, it's flying off the shelves.  This is a Valentino Camouflage Bomber Jacket with a pop of color.

Trend #2  Stripes:

If any designer can do stripes its definitely Tommy Hilfiger.

Trend #3 :  Loafers:

Come a long way from first appearing in the 30's from Norway, from casual shoes to being worn today with suits.  Loafers are comfortable and can be worn by both men and woman.  Gucci 2013.

Trend #4: Bright Colors

Bright colors comes big this summer.  Salvatore Ferragamo Spring-Summer 2013

Trend #5: Detailing/Contrast Sleeves

This trend was very slow taking off.  In outerwear comes in two forms: bold colored coats or jackets with contrasting suede/leather sleeves.  Alexander Wang bonded-leather & wool-blend Bomber Jacket.
